Tech Wizard Mike needed two mascot characters for his Technology Skills for Kids picture books which (to the best of his knowledge) had never been drawn before 😯

What is a clipboard?

The clipboard is a temporary space and is not a physical thing you can access. When you save something to the invisible clipboard, it is held until you save something else that overwrites the clipboard with something new. To get something out of your invisible clipboard, you must simply paste it somewhere.

As previously stated, apparently nobody had ever drawn one of these before so Tanya had to be a trailblazer or sorts. But, as always, she came through!

Here is imaginative Tanya’s preliminary sketch for the “Invisible Clipboard” character / cartoon mascot:

Tech Wizard Mike immediately (and enthusiastically 🎉) signed off on this sketch, and Tanya soon submitted the completed illustration:

Once again, “Mike the Wizard” could not find a reference image for Tanya. There is a plethora of mascot images on the web — but apparently nobody ever thought of creating one for the cursor / “blinking line” 😯

Hi Tanya 🌊 (whoops 🙈 put an ocean wave instead of a hand wave but oh, well 👋) I have another challenge for you… 👩🏻‍🔬 This is one is going to be on a par with the “invisible clipboard” character…. Can you create a character / cartoon mascot that represents the “blinking line”? The text insertion point or “cursor” (Gosh, I haven’t heard that word since the 80s).
